Snyder’s traditional pretzels come in thirteen varieties: Butter Snaps, Dipping Sticks, Homestyle, Itty Bitty Mini, Mini, Olde Tyme, Rods, Snaps, Sourdough Hard Pretzels, Sourdough Nibblers, Sticks, Thins, and Unsalted Mini.

Of the thirteen, only one contains animal-based ingredients: Butter Snaps. Butter Snaps contains Natural Flavor (Enzyme Modified Butterfat) which is animal derived and non-vegan.

Based on the this information, all of the Snyder’s traditional pretzel flavors (Dipping Sticks, Homestyle, Itty Bitty Mini, Mini, Olde Tyme, Rods, Snaps, Sourdough Hard Pretzels, Sourdough Nibblers, Sticks, Thins, and Unsalted Mini) except Butter Snaps are vegan.

Flavored Pretzel Pieces

Snyder’s flavored pretzel pieces come in nine varieties: Parmesan Garlic, Honey Mustard & Onion, Hot Buffalo Wing, Cheddar Cheese, Peanut Butter Filled, Jalapeno, Salted Caramel, Buttermilk Ranch, and Cinnamon Sugar.

Of the nine, five contain animal products in their ingredients (milk, cheese, or honey) and are not vegan. These flavors are: Parmesan Garlic, Honey Mustard & Onion, Cheddar Cheese, Salted Caramel, and Buttermilk Ranch.

The remaining four Snyder’s flavored pretzel pieces varieties (Buffalo Wing, Peanut Butter Filled, Jalapeno, and Cinnamon Sugar) contain no animal based products and are vegan.

Snyder’s pretzel sandwiches come in two varieties: Cheddar Cheese and Brick Oven Style Pizza. Both of these have animal-based cheese ingredients. Therefore, neither of Snyder’s pretzel sandwich varieties are vegan.

Gluten-Free Pretzels

Snyder’s gluten-free pretzels come in six varieties: Rods, Cinnamon Brown Sugar Pieces, Sticks, Mini Pretzels, Honey Mustard & Onion Sticks, and Hot Buffalo Wing Pieces.

Of the six, only the Honey Mustard & Onion sticks variety contains animal products. It contains “Honey Powder”.

Therefore, five of the six gluten-free varieties of Snyder’s pretzels are vegan. These varieties are: Rods, Cinnamon Brown Sugar Pieces, Sticks, Mini Pretzels, and Hot Buffalo Wing Pieces.

Snyder’s braided twists come in three varieties: Honey Wheat, Garden Vegetable, and Multigrain.

Of the three, only the Honey Wheat flavor contains animal-based ingredients (honey).

Therefore, the Garden Vegetable and Multigrain varieties of Snyder’s braided twists are vegan.

Chocolate Covered Pretzels & Wholey Cheese! Crackers

Unfortunately, all varieties of Snyder’s chocolate covered pretzels and “Wholey Cheese!” crackers contain milk ingredients and are not vegan friendly.
